Store Lee Valley Multi-Purpose Rigid Bowl Rest

This durable, economical tool rest does an excellent job simplifying both internal and external turning for bowls 8″ to 12″ in diameter. The pronounced curve mirrors the shape of a bowl, allowing turners to have full support as they turn into the bowl blank to produce smooth cuts without having to readjust the tool rest as you would with a straight rest.

The rest threads onto the appropriate post for your lathe, with two sizes available separately, 4″ long with a 5/8″ diameter or 5″ long with a 1″ diameter. The 1″ diameter post fits the Rikon 70-150VSR and 70-1420VSR lathes.
