Unlike pressed wood, these appliqués have crisp detail and no fractured fibers. Each is cast from handmade molds, using a wood-based material most reminiscent of a high-quality MDF, formed over a wood core for additional strength.

Typically used on narrow vertical members as a capital, these paintable accents are suitable for a variety of applications. They also make good study molds.
