In our search for new products, we often look at how items were made in the past – especially in the hardware line. At a local auction sale, we came across a robust two-prong hook that was used for holding horse harnesses. This cast-iron hook is a direct reproduction. The larger prong projects about 6″, the smaller about 2 1/2″. The backing plate is 2 1/2″ wide by 4″ high. It weighs just over 1 lb.
Although it is more suited to mounting in a porch, shop or shed, it could fit in some hallways, depending on the style. Blackened screws included.
