A tough tool for a tough job, this is an effective way to haul heavy timbers from point A to point B.
Two stout carbon-steel hooks (1/2″ × 7/8″ in cross section) pivot on the collar to bed firmly in logs up to 16″ in diameter. The hooks rotate on a swivel collar to orient the log in any direction relative to the 48″ long ash handle, which measures 2 3/8″ at its thickest point.
Made in Eddington, Maine, by Peavey Manufacturing, a firm that has produced dependable tools for the timber and log-building trades since 1857.
