Outlet Lee Valley Silicone Cake Strip

This reusable strip easily fits around the outside of metal cake pans, insulating the sides to promote uniform heat distribution for even baking. It helps prevent dried-out edges, cracking and doming that can occur when the cake mixture bakes more quickly near the sides of the pan than in the center.

Made from durable LFGB-approved silicone, it can withstand temperatures to 500°F (260°C) and has a non-stick surface for easy clean-up. Dishwasher safe. Fits standard 9″ round and 8″ square pans.
