New Lee Valley Clamp-On Articulating Vise

Easily secured to a work surface up to 1 5/8″ thick (and just as easy to remove when not in use), this compact articulating vise is a practical choice for home repairs and small projects.

The rotating head lets you choose between two pairs of 5/8″ deep jaws. One jaw pair is 1 1/2″ wide with smooth faces to avoid marring your work, and the other is 2 1/2″ wide with crosshatched faces for enhanced grip as well as notches for holding round stock. Maximum opening of each is 2 1/2″. The swivel base also rotates 360°, so you can readily position the work for best access.

The vise has a 2″ × 1″ flat anvil for light shaping jobs, flattening pins or peening rivets, and a fully enclosed lead screw to keep debris out of the threads. Mounted, the 6 1/2″ long vise stands 5 1/2″ high; the swivel base is 3 3/4″ wide and has three through holes for permanent installation (1/4″ bolts not included).

The body is cast iron with a powder-coated finish to prevent corrosion. Weighs 8 1/2 lb.
