Hot Lee Valley Rikon 1100 Cfm Air Cleaner (Model 62-1100)

Air cleaners handle dust that gets past your main dust collection system. These fine particles, in the range of 5 microns and larger (for comparison, a human hair is about 40 microns thick), can hang in the air for hours, creating a breathing hazard and making a mess of your shop when they eventually settle.

With a powerful 1/2 hp motor, this air cleaner can handle large rooms and intense dust. Designed for ceiling mounting only, it can be set to 560, 750 or 1100 cfm, filtering the air of a 20′ × 20′ × 8′ room 22 times per hour at the highest setting. It uses an outer filter that traps particles 5 microns or larger, with an inner pleated filter bag that catches particles as small as 1 micron. The outer filter can also be switched out for a charcoal filter that traps noxious odors as well as dust. At 73 dB on the highest setting, it is somewhat louder than a household vacuum.

This cleaner can be set to automatically shut off 1, 2 or 4 hours after you finish working. A remote is included for convenient activation and setting changes.

Measures 27 1/4″ × 24 1/2″ x 12 1/2″ overall and weighs 61 lb.
