This 36″ × 48″ plan is complemented with a detailed and well-written instruction book that contains a bill of materials, a cutting list, jig and fixture plans (where necessary), alternative construction notes and suggested finishing techniques.

This small table can expand with three leaves to a length of 96″ to seat 10 nicely and 12 in a pinch. There are two challenges to building this table: the pedestal supports and their legs, and the slide mechanism for the table extensions. The balance of the table top can be made of veneered hardwood plywood or solid material. When complete, the table measures 28 1/2″ high by 42″ wide; 96″ long extended and 30″ folded.
