With four blade styles to perform various types of cuts, this set of tools lets you take on a wide array of small carving projects, from whittling and chip carving to signmaking, spoon carving and more. The set includes two carving knives and two palm carving gouges. All have well-ground high-carbon steel blades that come fully honed, ready for use, while the ergonomically shaped ash handles permit a comfortable grip, helping prevent hand strain in extended use.

The cutting and fine-point detail knives both measure about 6 1/2″, with 1 3/16″ blades hardened to Rc52-54. The #6 × 5/16″ palm gouge and 70° × 1/4″ parting gouge are both just over 5″ long, with handles designed to nest in the palm as you guide the blades (Rc55-58) with your fingertips, permitting superb control.
