This high-quality, Japanese-made mattock is surprisingly lightweight and well balanced for comfortable one-handed use.
The tool has a 3″ pick end for breaking up compacted soil, and a 3″ long by 2 1/2″ wide mattock end.
It has a tough, rust-resistant stainless-steel head, a 14″ long Japanese white oak handle with a rubber grip, and an exposed wedge that can be tapped to tighten the handle if required.
A stainless-steel cultivator mattock is available separately or with this pick as a set.
