Cheap Lee Valley Workbench Adapters For Bessey Hold-Down Clamps

These adapter posts allow you to use Bessey hold-down clamps in the dog holes of a wooden workbench. Grooves on the post increase friction to resist upward forces. Adapters are available for 19mm, 20mm, 25mm and 30mm diameter holes.

The 19mm adapter can be used in a 3/4″ dog hole, albeit with a snug fit – we recommend sanding or reaming the dog hole slightly wider for easy removal.
