Cheap Lee Valley Transom Latch

Cast brass with a 1/16″ thick polished strike.

Originally used as a closure for transoms, it can also be used as a cabinet latch. It has a release with a 1/2″ I.D. ring pull for use with a rope or cord. Mounted in more accessible locations, the ring makes a comfortable pull.

Latch case is 2 1/4″ by 1 1/4″. Available in six finishes: polished brass, antique brass, oil-rubbed bronze, antique nickel, weathered bronze and pewter. Screws included.
