Cheap Lee Valley Oval-Back Windsor Chair Plan

This 36″ × 48″ plan is complemented with a detailed and well-written instruction book that contains a bill of materials, a cutting list, jig and fixture plans (where necessary), alternative construction notes and suggested finishing techniques.

The oval-back chair was traditionally used as a side chair, and the continuous armchair complements it well. This chair includes a tailpiece. The bracing spindles make the chair much stronger by reinforcing the bow against the sitter’s weight. When complete, this chair measures 36 3/4″ high by 15″ wide and 21″ deep.
