Cheap Lee Valley Mirka 6″ Grip-Faced Soft Interface Pad

The 6″ diameter by 3/4″ thick interface pad is used in combination with hook-and-loop sanding discs for sanding rounded surfaces and contours.

Using the interface pad also produces a more consistent and even result. The interface pad is placed between the backing pad and the sanding disc.
