Cheap Lee Valley Hirsch Straight Chisels

Produced by one of Germany’s oldest tool-making firms, these professional-quality chisels are the style traditionally favored by European carvers. The natural finish hornbeam handles have excellent impact resistance, and their octagonal shape gives a secure grip and prevents rolling on the bench. The fully polished blades are hand forged from high-carbon steel, hardened to Rc61 for durability, and require only final stropping.

The chisels have no curvature and are ground square across the end of the blade.
