Cheap Lee Valley E.C. Emmerich Adjustable Block Plane

Nothing represents tradition in woodworking like the wooden plane.

This 6″ × 2″ block plane has a regulator that is machined to eliminate backlash. The regulator adjustment knob, over 1 3/4″ wide, fits the palm comfortably.

Blade is 39mm (about 1 1/2″) wide. With a pitch of 50°, this is an excellent small plane. Hornbeam body.

Made in Germany by E.C. Emmerich, the maker of Primus planes, traditionally the finest wooden planes available.
