Cheap Lee Valley Basswood Sheets

A light-colored, medium-density wood favored for carving, basswood is easy to work, with straight grain and a fine, even texture that takes detail well.

Suitable for feather rendering, these 1/8″ thick sheets are select-grade basswood, kiln dried, then milled to nominal dimensions and planed smooth on all faces.
