These stands are almost as good as an assistant when taking measurements with long stand-offs.

Providing a wide, stable base, they prevent the tape case from tipping over when you set it down to mark or record measurements. They also free a hand so you can press the tape edge flat to the surface to eliminate parallax error.

The 1 3/8″ tall version is intended for smaller tapes (e.g., 10′ tapes) and accommodates cases up to 1″ thick. The 1 1/2″ tall stand fits larger tape measures (e.g., 25′ and 30′ tapes) and accommodates cases up to 1 3/4″ thick.

Made in Canada from bright orange ABS plastic, they are easy to find in a toolbox or drawer. Patented.
