Best Lee Valley Crisper Insert

Using the same all-natural filter as the produce keepers we’ve carried for years, this compact insert goes in your refrigerator’s crisper drawer to help keep fruits and vegetables fresh longer, and avoid waste.

The non-toxic, activated carbon filter, made from coconut husks, traps and absorbs ethylene gas, a natural byproduct of the ripening process that can otherwise accelerate spoilage. The insert is vented on four sides to maximize airflow and absorption of the gas.

Each filter lasts about three months; replacements are available separately. The insert easily comes apart when you want to change the filter, and an adjustable dial can be set to show the months the filter is in use to help you keep track.

Made of BPA-free plastic. Dishwasher safe.
